To achieve the highest quality, DBC constructed a two-story mockup of prefabricated EIFS panels and punched windows for water pressure testing.

10x Genomics, an American biotech company, has added a three-story 150,000-sq.-ft. ground-up facility to expand its research, development and manufacturing capabilities. A lengthy permitting process paired with an ambitious schedule meant the team had to find ways to save time on the critical path.

DBC fabricated and installed 267 X-Series EIFS (exterior insulation and finish system) panels. To achieve the highest quality, DBC constructed a two-elevation, two-story mockup of our prefabricated EIFS panels and punched windows for water pressure testing.

Our field-verified team performed spray rack water testing and recorded all observations, including air filtration. Based on the results, DBC was able to improve overall panel designs before production. This quality control and advancement processes are just one of the many checkpoints that our products undergo. Learn more about this project's mockup and water pressure testing here: Digital Building Components | Water Pressure Testing EIFS Panels for…
