The Joan and Sanford I. Weill Neurosciences building is a 6-story, 282,000-sq.-ft world-class research facility considered the crown jewel of the UC San Francisco (UCSF) Mission Bay campus. It is the headquarters of one of the largest neuroscience complexes in the world with a combination of psychiatric offices, research labs, clinics and office spaces. The project is also LEED-Platinum certified.
DBC manufactured and installed panelized interiors and exteriors for this project. The panels were shipped to the plumbing and electrical subcontractors for rough-in at their respective shops before delivery. The project site was extremely constrained with limited assigned crane time for exterior panel installation and interior panel off-loading.
